Tonya Gunn Designs was born of a desire to create simple, functional and timeless patterns for the beginner knitter but fun for even the advanced knitter that is looking for a pattern to knit that doesn't require too much concentration.

As a mom of seven, especially when my children were young,  I was always looking for patterns that were simple enough for me to knit without having to count and keep constant notes - patterns that I could pick up and put down with ease in between calls for "Mom", or even knitting I could do while reading aloud during our homeschool lessons. 

I have spent hours searching for simple patterns to knit.  As my skills and confidence have grown over the years, I am ready to fill that void in the field of knit design.
